The Church of Jesus Christ's Statement of Faith


I. I believe in the Bible, the Old Testament and the New Testament are the Word of God, the absolute truthfulness and can be inerrant.

VII. I believe in Holy Communion that commanded by Jesus Christ in remembrance of the crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

II. I believe in God the Trinity, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

VIII. I believe in spiritual healing through His wounds and the death of Jesus Christ on the Cross.

III. I believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell. The third day, He arose again from dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, whence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.

IX. I believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the manifestation of the spiritual gifts.

IV. I believe in the Holy Spirit and the fruit of the Spirit.

X. I believe in the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting.

V. I believe that all mankind are sinners and the forgiveness of sins only through repentance and acceptance of Jesus Christ as personal Savior.

XI. I believe that the church is the Body of Christ, the community of all true believers for all time, that Lord Jesus Christ being exalted to a position of the highest authority.

VI. I believe water baptism as one of the two sacraments commanded by Jesus Christ and the way in which baptism is carried out by immersion, to put completely under the water.

XII. I believe in tithing as the offering belongs to the Lord.
